2012 was quite a year. We thank our policyholders who are responsible for our above average operating performance. As we ring in the new year, let’s look back at the top stories of 2012:

OMIC Celebrates 25th Anniversary

OMIC reaches 25th birthday as the largest and most influential carrier for ophthalmologists. OMIC’s presence in the industry has lowered premiums for all ophthalmologists, even those not insured by the company and is the only carrier writing coverage during several of the industry’s worst years during the past decade. OMIC holds reception at 2012 Academy Annual Meeting where nearly 700 attendees helped us celebrate a truly amazing quarter century of service to ophthalmology.
