More Than $1.4 Million in Special OMIC Partner Educational Discounts Awarded During 2012
OMIC has issued special discounts totaling more than $1.4 Million in premium savings through a national network of cooperative ventures with more than 45 ophthalmic societies in the United States. Since the first partnership with ISRS in 1994, OMIC Partner discounts have surpassed $12 Million and nearly 70% of all risk management credits are now eligible for preferred discount.
Members of OMIC Partner societies earn a 10% OMIC premium discount (currently averaging more than $1,000 nationally). To take advantage:
> Join (and maintain membership in) the society.
> Participate in one approved OMIC risk management event per year. (An “approved event is determined by the society. Many designate any OMIC live, online, or recorded course however some require attendance at a live OMIC-Society event)
OMIC tracks membership and cross-checks with risk management participants to apply OMIC premium discount.
