Important Safety Alert: Reducing Patient Fall Risks

We want to draw your attention to a safety hazard in healthcare settings: stools with wheels. These commonly used items have been identified as a risk factor for patient falls, which can result in serious injuries and complications.

Action Required: To enhance patient safety, we advise you not to allow patients to sit on stools with wheels, or remove stools from patient exam rooms.
