Because of you, we have accomplished these 10 great things:
- Decreased rates in every state and territory in the United States. National average decrease of more than 12%. Rates have been lowered by nearly 40% since 2005.
- Declared a 20% policyholder dividend, the tenth consecutive dividend, averaging nearly 20% per year.
- Successfully lobbied for legislation allowing risk retention groups to write coverage for physicians in Wisconsin. OMIC now offers coverage for ophthalmologists in all U.S. states.
- Added four new regulatory and cyber liability benefits to standard professional liability policy.
- Streamlined application process and relaxed requirements.
- Published several new consent documents in “plain language” to support new Academy initiative.
- Entered into 52nd educational alliance, now partners with nearly all U.S. ophthalmic societies.
- Launched online renewal process.
- Reached 1000 followers on the OMIC Community.
- Worked with American Academy of Ophthalmology to release new patient education videos.
